Yes. DxO ViewPoint ⁵ readily fits into any Adobe software photography workflow. When used as a plugin in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Elements it is launched directly from the Filters menu. In Lightroom Classic, DxO ViewPoint ⁵ is launched by right-clicking on an image and then selecting ‘Edit in.’

DxO ViewPoint ⁵ can be activated on a total of three personal computers, as long as it is never run on more than one computer at a time. You may install it on both a Mac and a PC with the same license.

When used as a standalone application, or as a plugin for Adobe software, DxO ViewPoint ⁵ handles JPG or TIFF files up to 200 Mb. However, when DxO ViewPoint ⁵ is installed as an extension to DxO PhotoLab (where it appears as a dedicated palette on the Customize tab) it handles any RAW file format supported by DxO.ExplaiYes. When you process a RAW file in DxO PureRAW ⁶, you can choose to send it to Photoshop as a Smart Object. This means that you can revisit your denoising and demosaicing at any point during your edit, as though you had opened the file using Adobe Camera Raw. Double-clicking the Smart Filter in Photoshop will launch DxO PureRAW, opening your image with all of the settings maintained, ready for you to adjust.
Unlike in Lightroom, DxO PureRAW ⁶ does not function as a plugin. Instead, you can launch the standalone app directly or select files via your computer’s file browser for processing. If you don’t choose to send files as Smart Objects, the Linear DNG files produced by DxO PureRAW ⁶ will open into the Adobe Camera Raw interface like any other RAW file – but better because they’ve been processed with DxO PureRAW ⁶.n the camera support model and link to the canonical compatibility list.

DxO PhotoLab comes with a selection of geometric tools. However, when DxO ViewPoint ⁵ is installed, DxO PhotoLab versions 8 and 9 gain an additional palette that brings extra functionality: Volume Deformation correction that resolves the stretching caused by wide-angle lenses, local warping with the ReShape and ReShape Fusion tools, Miniature Effects, and options for flipping an image.

DxO ViewPoint ⁵ is compatible with DxO PhotoLab versions 8 and 9.

Yes. When used as an extension to DxO PhotoLab, DxO ViewPoint ⁵ uses DxO Optics Modules to automatically correct images based on the optical profile of the camera and lens used to capture each photo. When used as a standalone application, or as a plugin for Adobe software, the automatic distortion correction tool requires camera EXIF metadata to identify the DxO Optics Module needed to rectify the image, therefore users will need access to the original RAW file. If this EXIF data is unavailable, users can manually correct barrel, pincushion, and fisheye distortion using a simple slider.
